Angela Campbell, MS, CAPE
Adapted PE Consultant
Angela has 26 years of teaching experience with 16 years of experience working as an APE consultant, 13 years for Coppell ISD, 2 years for Region 10 Education Service Center, and is now the co-owner of Adapted PE Solutions, LLC.
Professional Experience:
Adapted PE assessment, student program and IEP development, direct and consultative services, District APE Program support, District APE consultant, and organization and facilitation of the North Texas Adapted Physical Education Conference held at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.
Presentation Experience:
The North Texas Adapted Physical Education Conference and its virtual Webinar series, the Texas Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired Conference, the Region 10 Low Incidence Population Conference, the American Printing House Conference, and the National Physical Therapy Conference. She has also developed and implemented professional development training for Adapted PE, PE, and Special Education teachers.

Other Contributions:
Games management committees for Kid-Netic Games for students with physical impairments, Sports Extravaganza for students with visual impairments, school-based Special Olympics programs

Education:
Angela received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, completed the Adapted Physical Education Master’s Degree through Texas Woman’s University, and is currently pursuing an Educational Doctorate in Special Education from Slippery Rock University.
Angela was recently awarded the Region 10 Randy Foederer Adapted PE WhataTeacher of the Year Award for 2021.
